What are Nectar points – How do you collect and spend Nectar points

Nectar Points are points that you can collect, for instance when shopping, and each point is worth money. There are over 400 shops or places that you can collect Nectar points from, including Sainsbury’s, Argos and EBay.

You can keep collecting these points and then spend the amount of equivalent money they are worth.

How much money are Nectar Points worth

Each Nectar point is worth 0.005p which is half a pence. Therefore, every 2 Nectar point is worth 1p.

Getting 1p from every 2 Nectar Point does not seem much, but they quickly add up as you do your normal, day to day shopping.

Here are some more examples:
100 Nectar points = 0.50P
1000 Nectar points = £5
5000 Nectar points = £25

Special offers to double value of Nectar points

Sometimes companies will give special offers where they give you double the value for the Nectar points when you shop with them. So, the 5000 Nectar points that is worth £25, will be doubled to be worth £50.

There are lots of places where you can collect Nectar points from. These include:

Daily Mail

If you read the Daily Mail, then you can collect Nectar points. The Daily Mail, gives a 12 digit unique number at the back of the paper for you to claim Nectar points. You can log these numbers in your MyMail account to claim your Nectar points.

Where can you spend Nectar points

You can spend your Nectar points in most of the places you are able to collect them from including, Sainsbury’s, Argos, eBay, VUE Cinemas, British Airways, Esso and Habitat.

Nectar Hotels

You can also collect and spend your Nectar points at certain hotels. So, if you are going on a holiday or going to be staying at a hotel for any reason, if you stay at a Nectar hotel, you can collect or spend your Nectar points.

Spending and collecting Nectar points at Sainsbury’s

To collect and spend Nectar points in Sainsbury’s, you will need a Nectar Card. You will also need to register with Nectar at their website. Register and get a Nectar Card, here: Join Now For Nectar Card.

Spending Nectar point on eBay

To spend your Nectar points on eBay, you will have to open an account with eBay and then convert your Nectar points into vouchers. When you have your vouchers, you can use it towards your payment.
