You can protect your home and content with M&S Bank Home Insurance. They offer: Premier and Standard insurance, that covers buildings and content. Accidental damage is included with all the Premier policies.

What is covered as standard

With the Premier policy, you will get unlimited building cover. This means if there are damages to your home’s structure, fittings and fixtures, you will get unlimited cover to have it replaced, rebuilt or repaired.

With the Standard policy, you will get up to £1, 000, 000, to have your home’s structure, fittings and fixtures to be replaced, rebuilt or repaired.

Cover for valuables

New for old replacement

If your belongings are damaged or lost, you will get new replacements. This includes clothing.

Bicycle cover

Both the Premier and Standard policy automatically includes cover for your bicycle when you are at home.


Cover for the content of your garden include theft or damage to plants.

Extra protection

You can add accidental damage cover for your Standard policy as an addition.

Home emergency cover

You can add home emergency cover, as an extra, to your policy. This will cover you for problems with your boiler or for plumbing instances such as a burst pipe.

Alternative accommodation

M&S Home Insurance, will pay for alternative accommodation, if your property becomes uninhabitable due to damage.

What is not covered
